An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 6 registered occupational health nurse to join the occupational health team at oh Occupational Health and Wellbeing based at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge. We are also currently recruiting for a band 6 post based at West Suffolk Hospital for which applicants may be considered if appropriate.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Occupational Health Adviser to join an established and SEQHOS accredited OH company; oh Occupational Health and Wellbeing. oh is the Occupational Health department for Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH) supporting approx. 20,000 NHS staff and providing health surveillance for small to medium sized businesses throughout East Anglia, including Royal Papworth Hospital (RPH) and West Suffolk Hospital (WSH). Oh aims to improve the health safety and general wellbeing of all staff, striving to create a healthier working environment for all.
You will have a positive attitude towards the health and wellbeing of employees and must have excellent complex case management and report writing skills. You need to be happy working autonomously and as part of a team.
Pre-employment health screening
Assessing health surveillance needs, maintaining health surveillance programmes and account management.
Complex case management, on and off site providing written reports and advice to managers and employee relations
Line Management responsibility, supervision and support of junior colleagues
On site and off site health surveillance clinics throughout East Anglia including - lung function and audiometric testing
Covid risk assessment
Participation in annual flu vaccination programme
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
A team player who engages in the timely delivery of services and who can work towards the trusts policy of kind safe and excellent.
This post is subject to a satisfactory DBS clearance and as a result, you will be required to pay the associated fee of 40.00. This fee will be deducted from your second month's salary.
A welcome subsidy of 1000 is available to all Band 5 and Band 6 Nurses, Midwives, ODPs and Radiographers taking up substantive employment with the Trust.
