NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Training Manager, Clinical Service Desk to join our team in Burnaby, British Columbia (CA-BC), Canada (CA).

NTT DATA, in collaboration with BC's Health Authorities, is establishing a Level 1.5 Clinical Service Desk. The Clinical Service Desk Training Manager will join our Clinical Service Desk (CSD) in Vancouver, British Columbia to support transition and steady state activities as NTT stands up services. With our Health Authority partners, we are focused on delivering better outcomes for patients in BC, through the continuous improvement of services to clinical end users across BC.

The Clinical Service Desk Training Manager is responsible for the development and delivery of all clinically-aware training to service desk agents as well as other members of the NTT support team providing services across BC. The Clinical Service Desk Training Manager has a deep understanding of technical/configuration aspects of clinical applications used in care settings, including but not limited to acute, ambulatory, community and/or long-term care.

The Csd Training Manager Responsibilities

  • Applies their knowledge to develop and continually evolve training material and tools for a broad audience of technical and non-technical users, drawing from and contributing to NTT DATA's global library of training assets.
  • Collaborates with the client application support leaders and personnel to understand the clinical environment and application use, specific to each organization.
  • Collaborates with NTT DATA service areas leaders to determine clinically aware training requirements
  • The Clinical Service Desk Training Manager is a member of the CSD's continuous improvement cycle.
  • The role includes providing feedback on agent calls, developing and delivering additional training as appropriate.
  • Contribute to the development, maintenance, quality of NTT DATA knowledge base. On regular intervals will participate / facilitate knowledge base reviews
  • The Training Architect support pre-sales and sales activities, as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years minimum in a leadership role, in clinical application training and/or support, with applications used in acute, ambulatory, community and/or long-term care.
  • Highly organized with a proven ability to prioritize work in dynamic and fast paced environments
  • Proven presentation and communication skills, with ability to adapt to various learning styles for adult learners.
  • Demonstrates a service philosophy in all interactions with clients, clinicians and colleagues

Additional Preferences/Nice to Have's

  • Registered Nurse, clinical informaticist or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in a training leadership role
  • Experience in EMR system integration with other clinical systems
  • Ideally, experience in one or more of the following clinical applications: Cerner, Procura, PARIS, Meditech
